The Eagley Mills development is situated on the outskirts of Bolton, 10 miles north west of Manchester, and is set within a mature wooded valley within easy reach of the town centre.

This former cotton complex is a prime example of a traditional industrial range of buildings and is made up of a series of mills, a former school house, and original workers cottages which became redundant in 1970.

The P J Livesey Group, acquired the site on an unconditional basis in late 1997, and embarked upon a lengthy planning campaign alongside Bryant Homes to successfully secure consent for 89 new homes, and a mix of 163 units in the refurbished buildings. Whilst Bryant Homes developed most of the new build element, the P J Livesey Group undertook sensitive new build to enhance the setting of the retained buildings.

The success of Eagley Mills was so great that the conversion was awarded the Britannia National Home Builder Design Awards 2001 and the LABC National Built in Quality Apartment Award 2003.
