STORETON HALL BARNS

We’re converting two historic buildings on the development into unique luxury homes

At the heart of our Storeton Hall development on the stunning Wirral peninsular are two historic buildings.

Storeton Hall dates back to around 1372 and is the second oldest building on the Wirral after Birkenhead Priory. Work to convert the hall into two large properties is on-going and we have uncovered some interesting ‘grafitti’ left by workmen over the centuries.

These properties are not expected to be released for sale until mid 2021.

Neighbouring the Hall and looking out towards it is a stone built barn that used to serve the estate. It too is being converted into two unique homes and these have now been released for sale.

While both offer generous open plan living and four spacious bedrooms each one is unique with its own historic features and feel.

Joint managing director Georgina Livesey said: “The joy of working on buildings like this is uncovering the past and incorporating it into the present. The two homes in the barn are full of character with generous space and completely individual.

“We are really pleased with how the whole site is coming together, how the old buildings sit with the new and how the landscaping is progressing.

“Sales of the new build homes have so far exceeded expectations with 15 reservations so we are very pleased to be able to release the two barn properties.”

Plot 30 occupies the right-hand side of the barn and incorporates the original barn opening which is now glazed to create stunning full height windows to the living room and master bedroom.

It offers a separate kitchen/dining room with bi-fold doors onto the garden and a fourth bedroom on the ground floor that has the flexibility to be used as a home office or play room or as a separate teenage sitting room.

Plot 31 boasts a large dual aspect living room with bi-fold doors onto the garden and links through to the well fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar and space for formal dining.
There are three double bedrooms on the first floor and on the ground floor a spacious bedroom suite with en-suite shower room, perfect for guests or anyone needing level access.

Both these properties are available to reserve now with completion scheduled for early 2021.
