TERRY’S CHOCOLATE WORKS

Work is progressing well on the former Terry’s Chocolate site in York

Work is progressing well on the former Terry’s Chocolate site in York where we are converting the iconic Grade II listed Factory Building into what will be truly wonderful apartments.

Such is the scale of the project that we decided to record the vast number of people working on site with a special photo shoot.

We were blessed with a glorious day and despite its coat of scaffolding the building – all 192,000sq ft of it – looked magnificent.

Everyone gathered outside from the chairman and founder Peter Livesey, daughter Georgina and the rest of the board to architects, project managers, designers, bricklayers, stone masons, electricians, joiners and the sales team.

ICONIC BUILDING

We are all very excited by this project. It’s an iconic building in a perfect location right next to York Racecourse and was built by Noel and Frank Terry in 1926, from one of the UK’s great family companies.

We aim to show the same ambition and care as they did as we convert the building into spectacular new homes that we think will be unrivaled in the area.

We are aiming to launch the first properties in Spring 2016.

This Development is Now Completed.
