NEWLY BUILT HOMES AT ALDERLEY PARK

The first new build houses are now available to buy off plan at our Alderley Park development

The trio make a contemporary contrast to the converted Cheshire cottages that flank the other sides of the cobbled West courtyard at The Historic Quarter.

These two and three bedroom homes are originally designed to offer spacious and flexible open plan living, arranged over two floors.

As well as private tree fringed gardens each property has a recessed first floor balcony looking out over the courtyard and its lovely brick arches to the parkland beyond.

They offer the perfect combination of modern, light filled living in a picturesque heritage setting.

CONSTRUCTION COMMENCES

on our latest Siemens Development

The PJ Livesey Group is due to start work next week on the first phase of Green Walk, our latest residential development located at the Siemens Campus at West Didsbury, Manchester.

The scheme will provide a mix of 48 contemporary town houses around a central courtyard including 44 apartments in a landmark new building, with access to the development from Nell Lane.

The apartments, a mix of one, two and three bedrooms, will all have large private balconies and purchasers of the penthouse properties will have access to their own private roof terraces.

The contemporary houses share a bold architectural style with the apartments and will be a mix of four and five-bedroom executive family homes with gardens, roof terraces and generous, modern interior spaces.

A pre-sales information centre is planned for summer 2108. PJ Livesey Director, Georgina Livesey said: “This is one of Manchester’s iconic sites and we are very excited about starting work to deliver some equally iconic housing.

“Green Walk will be a new neighborhood of contemporary homes in a great location. “We know this area well and are still incredibly proud of our nearby Didsbury Gate development which shows that quality building stands the test of time. “It is important that the scheme connects with the wider Siemens site and we will be working with partners to ensure a coordinated approach as well as keeping neighbors’ and local community well informed.”

DEAL COMPLETES FOR SIEMENS

We’re completing our agreement with our partners, Siemens, Bruntwood and Manchester City Council.

Work can now start in earnest on 48 contemporary 4 and 5 bedroom family houses and a new apartment block. The homes are part of wider redevelopment of the nine acre site which will also incorporate new offices aimed at medical and technical businesses and improved landscaping. The scheme accessed from Nell Lane in West Didsbury will sit alongside the existing Sir William Siemens House and the new £65m Spire Manchester Hospital.

PJ Livesey director Craig Lynch said: “This is an important milestone for the partnership and we are excited about starting work to deliver a wide range of properties. These will be high quality family homes sitting alongside a distinctive new apartment building and we anticipate the first completions by the end of this year.”

Manchester City Council leader Sir Richard Leese said: “The development will bring new jobs in a strategically important location close to the motorway and only 10 minutes from Manchester Airport. This is welcome news and will contribute to the city’s strategies by creating employment opportunities which Manchester people will be able to access.”

PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETING

We are consulting on plans to redevelop a site on Wilmslow Road at Didsbury

We are consulting on plans to redevelop a site on Wilmslow Road at Didsbury into a unique development of just 85 properties, mixing new build homes alongside historic buildings. The site contains a mix of buildings currently used for offices set within spacious grounds including a large parking area, mature trees and landscaping.

Our proposals would see The Cedars, a Grade II listed Victorian Villa converted and extended to provide 21 apartments, the listed Lodge House would remain as one unique home and the Coach House converted to two properties.

We also plan to convert one of the modern buildings on the site, the red brick Parklands, into 39 contemporary apartments.

A second modern building, Aspen House, would be demolished to make way for 22 new build homes.

The preliminary proposals can be viewed here:
